Position Summary

Northern Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join the Emergency Department team at Kitimat Regional Hospital. This dynamic role involves providing emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. The NP will manage CTAS 4 and 5 cases independently, assist with CTAS 1 and 2 cases, and occasionally manage CTAS 3 cases. The position offers close collaboration with physicians and emergency nurses, supported by telemedicine tools and flexible scheduling. Advanced certifications required: ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and CASTED.

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently assess and manage CTAS 4 and 5 patients.
