Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner

The Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services in a correctional healthcare environment. This role includes assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients; executing physician orders; administering medications; interpreting diagnostic tests; and developing patient care plans within the scope of licensure. The ARNP collaborates with physicians, nursing staff, facility personnel, and external healthcare providers to ensure the delivery of quality patient care while maintaining compliance with applicable healthcare regulations, policies, and accreditation standards. The position requires strong clinical judgment, effective communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and responsive in high-stress and emergency situations.
