Reporting to the Manager of Nursing Practice and Education, the Clinical Educator is a professional role model and resource person for nursing staff and other members of the health care team. The Clinical Educator supports the development of policies and procedures and quality improvement work that promote interprofessional, patient-family-centred care and evidence-based practice. The Clinical Educator plans, develops, facilitates, coordinates and evaluates educational opportunities for nursing staff; including orientation and skills development in new technology, medications, documentation and procedures for a broad range of practice competencies based on patient population.
