Elevate your engineering career with Aecon as a Procurement Engineer for the Darlington New Nuclear Project in Ontario. This role focuses on selection of equipment and vendor evaluations within a nuclear context.
In this position, reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will support Proposals and Estimating, collaborating directly with Proposal Managers, Procurement, and other departments. Your expertise in equipment specifications and vendor assessments will be key in meeting project demands. Work directly with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and success in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain design data and review customer specifications
• Prepare preliminary functional equipment specifications
• Create Aecon Technical Specifications for proposals
• Evaluate vendor quotations and make selection recommendations
• Review vendor drawings for compliance with specifications
Requirements:
• Professional Engineering (P.Eng.) designation
