Overview
Provide engineering technical leadership, support and direction for complex projects on new product launches and existing product line support around new and existing processes.
Responsibilities
Leads projects for the research, development, and implementation of new processes & materials with a focus on joining processes using adhesives, soldering, welding and mechanical attachment: Propose and implement innovative solutions for manufacturing process problems Performs experiments in order to compile and evaluate test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications Creates project plans including, creation of schedules, design of experiments, development of equipment, budgetary considerations, and process implementation.
