Non-Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Aerospace Engineering

The Department of Aerospace, Physics and Space Sciences (APSS) at the Florida Institute of Technology invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Assistant Professor position in the Aerospace Engineering program with the start date of August 2026.

Successful candidates must have a commitment to teaching excellence at undergraduate and graduate levels and contribute to the institution and profession through service. A Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or a closely related field is required for consideration. Non-tenure track faculty are expected to teach a minimum of three courses per semester and advise students.

Candidates should have a strong background in an area of aerospace engineering, such as aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, and aircraft flight mechanics. Interest and background in teaching laboratory courses, such as experimental fluid mechanics, will be considered favorably.
