Experience working in Non QM Underwriting
Ability to take final UW decision on loan files
Expertise in 4 Cs review, income calculation (Salaried/Self-Employment/Rental/Other income), Credit, Collateral and Capacity
Evaluate applications & verify supporting documents
Ensure process accuracy & SOP compliance
Understanding of UW Guidelines along with Credit Exceptions and Compensating Factors
Bachelor’s degree (Finance/Business preferred)
5 mortgage underwriting experience
Strong knowledge of RESPA, TRID, FHA, VA, USDA regulations
Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
Ability to manage tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable with night shifts & target-driven work
