I. Job Summary
Driver safely operates a heavy-duty truck and is responsible for preparing, loading, and transporting large intermodal containers from the intermodal rail facility to landfill working face. Rail Truck Drivers will operate in off road conditions and may operate in tight overhead environments. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential, to successfully perform this job. Coordinates movement of materials with rail foreman and Landfill Operations.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
+ Operates vehicle in accordance with WM Safety and Life Critical Rules. OSHA. (Occupational and Safety Health Act) and all local, municipal, state, and federal laws.
+ Positions and / or returns intermodal containers on the rail/truck in a manner that ensures container is safe and secure.
+ Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned equipment and documents checks on standard ...
