NOC System Engineer

This role provides Day 1 and Day 2 operational support, focusing on system monitoring, incident response, routine Business-as-Usual (BAU) tasks, provisioning, maintenance, recovery, and escalation. All activities are performed based on approved requests, standard templates, change records, and documented procedures (SOPs/runbooks).

This role focuses on systems and platforms. Network configuration is handled by a separate team.

1.     System Monitoring & Incident Response

·       Monitor systems and hosted services using monitoring tools

·       Respond to alerts and incidents within agreed timelines

·       Perform initial troubleshooting and recovery actions

2.     BAU Operations & System Administration

·       Perform routine BAU tasks such as:

o   Operating system and platform patching

o   System health checks and maintenance

o   Backup monitoring and basic restore activities
