Job Summary

Perform hands-on processing tasks in a seafood production environment to maintain product quality and safety. Work collaboratively with the production team while following established procedures and sanitation standards.

Main Duties

  • Sort, grade and inspect fish and seafood for quality and size according to production guidelines.
  • Perform manual processing tasks such as cleaning, gutting, de-heading, shelling, trimming or filleting as instructed.
  • Operate and monitor basic processing and packaging equipment under supervision, and assist with changeovers.
  • Weigh, pack, label and prepare processed product for storage or shipment, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work areas by washing equipment, surfaces and disposing of waste according to procedures.
