NOC 85100 - Livestock labourers

Job Summary Provide daily care and maintenance for livestock to support healthy herd and flock operations. Perform routine husbandry tasks, facility upkeep, and basic monitoring under direction. Number of Positions 2 Main Duties Feed and water animals according to established schedules and rationing instructions. Clean and maintain barns, pens, stalls, and other animal housing to ensure sanitary conditions. Move, restrain, and handle animals safely during routine procedures and facility transfers. Monitor animal health and behaviour, reporting signs of illness, injury, or distress to supervisors. Assist with basic breeding, birthing, and neonatal care activities under supervision. Operate and perform routine maintenance on farm equipment and tools used in livestock care; maintain daily records.
