Job Summary

Perform maintenance and repair on small engines and related equipment across a range of applications. Diagnose faults, complete repairs and routine servicing to ensure safe, reliable equipment operation.

Main Duties

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on small engines, power equipment and portable machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance including tune-ups, oil and filter changes, spark plug service, and lubrication.
• Repair or replace defective components such as carburetors, ignition systems, starters, fuel systems, belts and bearings.
• Use hand tools, power tools and diagnostic equipment to test engines and assemblies and complete repairs.
• Maintain parts inventory, order replacement parts and keep accurate service and repair records.
