NOC 32123 - Cardiology technologists and electrophysiological diagnostic technologists

Job Summary Provide diagnostic cardiac and electrophysiological testing and monitoring to support cardiology services. Ensure accurate data collection, patient safety, and timely documentation of test results. Number of Positions 5 Main Duties Perform diagnostic cardiac tests including resting and ambulatory ECGs, Holter/event monitoring, and exercise stress testing. Prepare patients for procedures by obtaining medical history, explaining test steps, and monitoring vital signs during testing. Operate, calibrate, and perform routine quality control and basic troubleshooting on cardiac monitoring and electrophysiology equipment. Assist cardiologists and electrophysiologists during non-invasive and invasive procedures, including setup, patient positioning, and sterile technique support when required.
