Department: Diabetes Education Centre

The Diabetes Education Centre provides assessment, education, and ongoing support to individuals living with diabetes and their families through a multidisciplinary outpatient program. The Centre's Registered Dietitian collaborates with a team of Registered Nurses and a Registered Social Worker to deliver individualized nutrition counselling, diabetes self-management education, and group programming. The Centre serves a diverse patient population and offers access to specialized services including diabetes and pregnancy counselling, a provincially designated paediatric diabetes program, and an insulin pump program, contributing to the health and well-being of the community.
