Network Technician

Portsmouth Water is looking for a Network Technician for our growing Network department. The role involves conducting a variety of water network field activities, troubleshooting issues, ensuring safe first‑time resolutions, addressing performance issues, optimising water supply systems, and maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Full training will be provided.

What will you be doing?

• Perform field‑based water network activities within Portsmouth Water's area of supply (South East Hampshire & West Sussex).
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, working collaboratively with teams and stakeholders.
• Handle planned and reactive work, investigating water network performance (pressure, leakage, metering, supply disruptions).
• Conduct distribution main isolation, asset verification and water quality checks (flushing, sampling).
