Network Technician

Overview

The Network Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting an organization’s network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and optimal performance.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and access points
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Perform network cabling, patching, and labeling
• Support LAN, WAN, WLAN, and VPN environments
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems
• Perform routine network maintenance and upgrades
• Ensure network security by following best practices and company policies
• Document network configurations, procedures, and changes
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors for issue resolution
• Provide technical support to end users when required
