Network Support Technician

Overview

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non‑university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years

Experience: 3 to less than 5 years

Location: On‑site only – remote work is not an option.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate access and use of computer networks
  • Install web server hardware and software
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, workstations and peripheral equipment
  • Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks
  • Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software
  • Evaluate and install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software
