Role Overview

The Tier 3 Network Engineer serves as the highest escalation point within network operations and owns automation, tooling, process governance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role focuses on reducing manual effort, improving data accuracy, and enhancing operational efficiency through system optimization and automation.

Tier 3 acts as the subject matter expert for advanced Layer 1–3 troubleshooting, tooling strategy, and process design, while providing technical leadership mentorship to Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams. The role works closely with vendors, engineering, and internal stakeholders to drive scalable solutions and operational excellence.
