Network Engineer

Experience: 5+ years

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Contractors will provide a 24x7 follow the sun model to support OCI's Regional Network Deployment and Scaling (RNDS) organization by:

i. Deploying greenfield network infrastructure and enabling connectivity for new OCI regions and child sites.

ii. Supporting brownfield scaling including CFAB rack adds, compute expansions, server rack adds, and decommissions.

iii. Building and managing data center fabrics, edge, backbone, and metro fiber networks.

iv. Executing region builds, DRCC/Alloy expansions, multi-cloud integrations and Butterfly turn-ups.

v. Operating in a CI/CD pipeline environment using GitHub and OCI's internal

tools for automated deployments.

vi. Developing scripts and automation (Python preferred) to reduce manual deployment effort.

vii. Leveraging networking expertise across BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, TC...
