Job Description

Key Tasks for a Network Engineer:

• Design build and support complex SDN networks based on Cisco (ACI) and Juniper (Apstra) Networks components
• Development of a network and migration concept from traditional network to a SDN network structure

• Perform project work from concept to implementation in Cloud environments

• Complex analysis of large networks

• 3rd level support for operation teams

• Security engineering and consulting

• Development and set-up of a Cloud network design

• Planning and choice of the network components needed (e.g. in the context of projects)

• Solicitation of quotations

• Set-up, maintenance and configuration of the individual components

• A good knowledge of authentication and logging architecture as well as DNS

• Routing and implementation of routing protocols
