Job Description

The Network Engineer is mainly responsible for the administration of the network and firewall structure and is reporting to the local Head of IT-Hub

Responsibilities and key tasks:

  • Technical administration, monitoring, support and further development of the network infrastructure
  • Implementation of the necessary IT security measures for the administered systems
  • Participation in the planning, implementation, configuration, and administration of all internal network issues (LAN / WLAN, NAC)
  • Configuration of firewall systems
  • Independent project work

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience as Network Engineer for at least 3 years
  • Very good knowledge of general network technology (WAN/MPLS, LAN/WLAN, TCP/IP, VLAN, NAC)
  • Sound knowledge of firewall solutions (VPN, IPS/IDS, ApplicationControl)
