Overview

AIT Worldwide Logistics is looking for a Network Engineer with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, capable of working independently, who has proven experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting wired and wireless network solutions. The Network Engineer, based at AIT’s headquarters in Itasca, Illinois, will provide a supporting role in AIT’s Infrastructure Team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy data networks utilizing industry best practices (wired and wireless).
  • Create Low Level Design, High Level Design, Implementation Plan, and Acceptance Test Plan documents.
  • Executing projects within expected time frames; the ability to work independently.
  • Configure, deploy, troubleshoot, and manage Cisco switches (Catalyst and Meraki), and firewalls (Palo Alto and CradlePoint).
