Job Description
As a Network Engineer on the Oracle Infrastructure Engineering Services (IES) - Network Operations & Reliability Engineering team, you will handle change requests, service requests, incident response, and problem management. You will support the design, deployment, and operation of large-scale Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and be primarily focused on Network Operations. The role requires strong protocol-level networking knowledge to manage production environments. OCI spans a global footprint with hundreds of thousands of network devices and millions of servers, connected through dedicated backbone links and the Internet. The team is globally distributed, so on-call responsibilities are assigned per shift/region, with flexibility required for occasional urgent issues.
