Job Description

Job Summary:

The Network Engineer I – OMS (Operations and Maintenance Services) will deploy and support network infrastructure at the access layer and assist with device configuration, documentation, field-based troubleshooting, and advance knowledge in data center networking.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure Layer 2 switch settings, VLANs, and port assignments.
  • Support rack buildouts, patch panel mapping, and IP assignments.
  • Monitor network ports, assist in MAC address tracking, and patch audits.
  • Collaborate with field teams during turn-ups and cutovers.
  • Advance network troubleshooting.
  • Handles other responsibilities as assigned.
