Job Description

Responsibilities:

Automation & Orchestration of

  • Deployment Workflows: Develop Day 0/1 provisioning for Cisco (IOS/NX-OS) and Palo Alto (PAN-OS) using industry standard tools and scripting languages.

  • Self-Service Tooling: Build API-driven tools (Python/Flask/FastAPI) that allow non-technical staff to safely manage port toggling, VLAN assignments, and PoE status.

  • Vendor-Agnostic Architecture: Design architecture using abstraction layers (e.g., NetBox, Jinja2) to ensure automation logic is portable across future hardware vendors.

    • Infrastructure Engineering & Support

  • Tier 3 Support: Serve as the senior escalation point for the core environment, including Cisco Switching/Wireless, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco UCS.

  • Event Streamlining: Standardize the Golden Image for event networking, ensuring consistent security posture and performance.
