GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Network Data Center Engineer provides support for data center LANs, WAN connections, and application performance troubleshooting. This individual is responsible for delivery of new functionality, day-to-day operations, and participating in break/fix activities supporting the Enterprise HFHS Networks.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
+ Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field, or related work experience.
+ Five years or more experience designing and implementing comprehensive network solutions using Avaya, Cisco, or Extreme Products. Training/familiarity with Nortel and Cisco architecture and design practices.
+ Training and/or Industry recognized certifications with designing, maintaining and interconnecting wide area networks.
+ Firm understanding of the OSI model.
+ Three to seven (3-7) years of experience in a large, complex network environment using Avaya/Nortel 86xx, ...
