NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR IV (BAND LEVEL 9) (St. John's)

Position Overview

Network Administrator IV (Band Level 9) – Permanent position – Fisheries and Marine Institute, Memorial University of Newfoundland.

Reporting to the Manager of the ICT Department, responsible for the Institute’s networking and communication infrastructure and services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain the Institute’s computer networks and related systems for data and voice communications (Cisco Unified Communications & Collaboration).
• Plan and strategize current and future business requirements to develop innovative technical network solutions.
• Perform regular network monitoring, troubleshooting, and analysis.
• Develop and maintain network and security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 5‑7 years of experience in an enterprise network environment.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. <...
