Summary

As an administrator, you may be responsible for maintaining the company’s technology. This includes knowing how to use various software programs, troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining the company’s computer network.

Responsibilities

  • Providing support to the sales team by answering questions regarding the product or service being sold
  • Coordinating with IT staff to ensure that all computer equipment is working properly
  • Maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other records of company data for use in reports
  • Writing reports on company activities and productivity, including end-of-month reports for management review
  • Creating user accounts and passwords for new employees, updating existing accounts with new information, and removing accounts for terminated employees
