Key Responsibilities

  • b. Commvault backup administration (Good to Have)
  • c. Installing, configuring, and managing SAN/Fibre Channel switches (Brocade, Cisco)
  • d. Troubleshooting and resolving major storage and backup outages
  • e. Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • f. Setting up Disaster Recovery (DR) sites aligned with RTO/RPO
  • g. Managing snapshots, clones, local & remote replication
  • h. Backup and recovery operations across large, distributed environments
  • i. Daily monitoring, restore jobs, failed job troubleshooting
  • j. Preparing capacity & performance reports
  • k. Performing backup assessments/audits
  • l. Reviewing current architecture & proposing improvements
  • n. NAS protocols: NFS, CIFS
  • q. Storage virtualization, thin provisioning, tiering, replication
  • r. Business continuity, high availability, DR methodologies
