Position :. NET Backend Integration Developer (Contract)
About the Role:
We are looking for a. NET Backend Integration Developer for a targeted contract role to help bridge our legacy and modern platforms. You will help support our policy export system as it transitions to support both a legacy database and a newly introduced policy administration system. The system reads policy data to produce XML feed files that downstream systems depend on. Your primary goal will be to implement a dual-database approach that is simple to build, easy to support, and straightforward to undo when the legacy system is eventually retired.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a small. NET database selector component to dynamically route database connections based on queue item labels.
Update the existing export queue reader, export key creator, and XML data preparer to handle the dual-database logic.
