Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager **3rd shift Necker Operator** to join their growing team!
The **Necker Operator** is responsible for operating and maintaining lacquer spray equipment used in the manufacturing of aluminum beverage and food cans. This role ensures protective coatings are applied accurately and consistently while maintaining production quality, equipment performance, and workplace safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Set up, operate, and adjust Lacquer Spray Machines (LSMs) to maintain proper lacquer pressure, temperature, and film weight distribution according to production specifications.
+ Monitor production lines to ensure quality standards are consistently met.
+ Perform quality control inspections, including copper sulfate flange testing and metal exposure measurements.
