Join NAWL as a Development Manager in Ottawa to lead impactful fundraising initiatives. This contract position offers a 4-day week with hybrid work options to help promote gender equality.
Reporting to the Executive Director, this Development Manager plays a vital role in executing NAWL’s fundraising strategies. Candidates need strong backgrounds in non-profit fundraising and experience managing donor relationships. The position is full-time, starting in June or July 2026, and is renewable contingent on funding.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead planning for major annual fundraising events
• Explore and secure funding opportunities and sponsorships
• Coordinate grant applications and maintain compliance
• Support donor engagement and stewardship activities
• Track fundraising efforts using DonorPerfect software
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a related field
• Five years’ experience in fundraising
