Navigation Systems Engineer

Job Description

A vacancy for a Navigation Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. The ideal candidate will have background in airborne embedded navigation systems, with expertise in Galileo GNSS, M-Code, systems engineering and certification processes (DO-178C, DO-254, ARP4754A, CS-25, etc). The successful applicant will join the Engineering Department, regarding Navigation Systems (Navigation Sensors, Radio Navigation, Satellite Navigation, Mil Hybrid Sensors, Mil Radio Navigation).

Tasks & Accountabilities

• Identify the activities of the development life cycle that are necessary to develop a system/product and provide the level of confidence which is consistent with regulation and program requirements.
• Define checkpoints and reviews with associated maturity expectations aligned with program phases and gates.
