NAC Claim Assessment: the Claim Assessor, within the Mercedes-Benz after-sales organization, checks if complex claims meet the current regulations. Approves, reduces or rejects claims and provides a transparent explanation regarding the decision.

Further topics: support of further topics (e. g. market migration), participation at regular presentation of market results, communication to markets via VEGA and meeting, participating in markets or Retailers meetings.


Tasks & Responsibilities:

Check complex and high-value claims if they meet the current regulations

  • Make fair and independent decisions
  • Avoid unjustified costs
  • Approve correct claims
  • Reduce or reject unjustified claims
  • Provide transparent reasons for decisions via the system to the Retailer
  • Communicate, when necessary, with markets to align decisions
