Job Description
8+ years of experience managing MySQL in production environments with strong command of MySQL architecture and InnoDB. Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and resolving slow queries, locking, and replication issues. Hands‑on experience with high availability solutions including replication (Master–Slave, GTID, Group Replication) and clustering. Proficiency in backup & recovery tools (Percona XtraBackup, mysqldump, PITR) and strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills (Shell/Python). Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure MySQL, GCP), monitoring tools (Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana), and database security best practices.
