MWR Deployed Forces Support Fleet Recreation Specialist

Summary This position is assigned to the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Deployed Forces Support; Fleet Readiness; Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC); Naval Base San Diego. The incumbent is responsible for implementing and executing the CNIC Fleet Recreation Operation and Maintenance, Navy equipment grant program and provide formal training to shipboard recreation services personnel. Responsibilities Assists in delivering programs to the shipboard community and facilitates fleet participation in departmental activities. Provides training to Recreation Services Officers and Fund Custodians through facilitation of the Fleet Recreation Management Course. Provides technical training and guidance in the functional areas of afloat recreation programs, accounting, auditing, procurement, general program administration and fund management.
