Music Department Post-Bacc Intern

Position Purpose The post-bacc intern will offer teaching and tech support for Music Department events, labs and courses. Responsibilities Act as Teaching Assistant for MUS classes (30% time) Assists faculty in readying teaching materials. Sets up classrooms/studios for class. Attends all classroom sessions. Meets regularly with instructor to discuss studio issues. Assists with tracking and recording student attendance. Responds promptly to student inquiries regarding assignments and materials. Monitor MUS studios during student studio hours (50% time) The Warehouse Clean common desks and tables, return seating to standardized positions, return all external gear to gear closet after each event. Guide users through functionality of the space, including use of the mixing desk, lighting design, software control.
