Job Description
What You'll be Doing:
- Assist in the planning, preparation, delivery and evaluation of public and educational programming for temporary and permanent exhibitions.
- Assist with organizing key summer special events.
- Enhance education kits.
- Perform other similar and related tasks.
What's Required:
- Enrolled in full-time, post-secondary studies in the field of concurrent education, political science, visual arts, history, geography, child & youth studies or museum studies and returning to full-time studies in the fall, supporting confirmation letter from your Registrar’s Office will be required.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada, be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and be between the ages of 16-30 years.
- Experience in education and/or event planning is an asset.
- Familiarity with public and educational programming in a museum setting is an asset.
