Job Overview

The municipality of Hollola hosts the regional environmental health unit of Päijät-Häme. We are seeking a fixed‑term Municipal Veterinarian to work at the Hollola, Heinola, and Sysmä offices. The role begins on 5 October 2026 (or as agreed) and continues until the end of 2027. The position supports veterinary services within multiple municipalities, including Asikkala, Hartola, Heinola, Hollola, Iitti, Kärkölä, Orimattila, Padasjoki, and Sysmä. The team consists of ten municipal veterinarians, two animal care technicians, and three inspection veterinarians.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive veterinary care for companion animals, farm animals, and horses.
• Perform practical veterinary tasks, primary production supervision, animal import/export, animal protection, and disease control.
