Job Description
McElhanney is hiring a Civil/Mechanical Technologist to enhance our Water and Wastewater Facilities division. This role is based in Victoria, BC and emphasizes design skills with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Revit.
As a key contributor, you’ll dive into municipal engineering and water process projects. We are looking for a candidate with at least 5 years of experience, strong design capabilities, and a background in Civil Engineering Technology. You will not only create detailed designs but also assist in budgeting and project administration through collaboration and stakeholder communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute engineering designs for water treatment processes
• Transform concepts into detailed designs using AutoCAD and Revit
• Prepare drawings for regulatory submissions
• Collaborate with project teams to meet targets
• Conduct construction inspections as needed
