Job Description

Position: Multiskilled Operative
Salary: £36,846.07 per annum (plus Veolia benefits and pension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week (07:00am – 04:30pm)
Location: Nathan Way, Thamesmead, SE280AB

Responsibilities

  • Compliance with all Health and Safety / Veolia policies and procedures.
  • Safe operation of the site, inclusive of personnel, and static/mobile equipment.
  • Compliance with the Site Licence and Management contract.
  • Control of traffic in/out of the RDF.
  • Monitor the quality of products to ensure that they meet pre‑set specifications.
  • Feed RDF shredder with material using loading shovel or 360 excavator.
  • Extraction of recyclable material from incoming waste.
  • Perform other reasonable tasks as required by site management.

Qualifications

  • Wheeled Loading Shovel certificate.
  • 360 Excavator certificate.
  • Proactive attitude to Health and Safety...
