Multipurpose Officer/Plant Operator

We are seeking a skilled Multipurpose Officer/Plant Operator to join our Services and Operations team in Colac in a Permanent Full-Time capacity.
As a member of the Services and Operations team you will carry out allocated tasks on Council's roads, bridges and road reserves, as well as Council-owned and managed land, with an emphasis on safety, quality and budget requirements to meet corporate values and standards.
This position is based at the Colac Depot.
The successful applicant will be required to:

• Demonstrate experience in manual/outdoor civil work activities
• Demonstrate experience in road construction/maintenance works
• Have good written communication skills
• Have traffic control, roadwork signage competence certificates
• Have an OH&S Construction Induction Card/White Card 
• Truck and/or required machinery tickets such as grader, roller, loader, excavator and skid steer
