What are you going to do

?

You will work on the forefront of AI and/or data management research inspired by retail settings.

Research topics of interest include but are not limited to recommender systems, information retrieval, forecasting, and data management for machine learning. As part of a vibrant AI ecosystem in Amsterdam, you will connect to the larger community interested in these topics and specifically to Ahold Delhaize to see how your research can help address their exciting and challenging real-world retail applications.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • conducting independent research in AI, resulting in academic publications in peer-reviewed conferences and journals;
  • to become an active member of the research community and to collaborate with other researchers,
  • supervising Bachelor and Master theses and tutoring students;
