Multi Boring Machine Operator

Key Responsibilities:



This involves selecting and installing the correct cutting tools, positioning, and securing the workplace, and adjusting machine settings like feed rate and cutting speed



Starting the machine, monitoring its operation, making adjustments as needed to ensure accurate hole drilling



Operators use measuring instrument like calipers and micrometers to verify that the drilled holes meet the required specifications



Performing routine maintenance tasks, changing worn tools, and reporting any issues to maintenance personnel



Operators need to understand technical drawings to accurately position and drill holes



While often working with wood, operators may also work with metal, plastics, and other materials
