Overview

Littelfuse is hiring a Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing and procurement of non-production materials such as packaging, operating supplies, equipment, tooling, spare parts, and service items. The role supports Strategic Buyers in sourcing and supplier development activities, ensuring material cost reduction, on‑time delivery, and zero defects for MRO items.

Responsibilities

• Source high‑quality, low‑cost MRO items and drive material cost reduction.
• Prepare RFQ/RFP or bidding invitations and organize bidding meetings.
• Review contracts, negotiate terms, and manage contract or price negotiation.
• Coordinate supplier assessments and audits.
• Improve processes to ensure compliance with internal control and environmental requirements.
• Process RTV and manage supplier capacity to meet Littelfuse needs.
• Effectively manage inventory using lean techniques such as Kanban and JIT.
