POSITION SUMMARY : Under the supervision of the Radiology Director/Manager and/or Lead Technologist, the MRI Technologist will perform all MRI duties, as well as other related responsibilities as needed to facilitate workflow and promote healthcare. MRI Technologists will operate MRI equipment in a safe and competent manner to produce quality diagnostic images as directed by physicians, according to established standards and protocols.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Assists physicians in invasive and non-invasive procedures using proper sterile technique as directed.

1. Perform MRI procedure as instructed.

1. Obtains and reviews documentation before performing exam. i.e. Physician's orders, consent and other forms, historical and contrast media questionnaire.

1. QC's all exams in Cerner as the exam is completed to ensure accurate historical reporting data.
