Mower Operators

The Seasonal Mower will be responsible for conducting roadside mowing across the County using a John Deere 6100 series tractors with a 15′ mower deck. This role also involves maintaining equipment and performing other related duties to ensure efficient operation throughout the mowing season. The positions run from approximately May to October 2026 (depending on seasonal conditions and workload).

Education & Experience

• Valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License.
• Experience operating and maintaining equipment.

Knowledge, Skills & Attributes

• Mechanically inclined, able to troubleshoot.
• Maintain and service equipment.
• Map reading skills and working knowledge of Geographical Positioning System (GPS) & Geographic Information System (GIS) – Asset
• Must be self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
