Monitor

Monitors supervise family visits at the Family Learning Place, ensuring a safe, culturally respectful, trauma‑informed environment. They support positive family interactions, document observations accurately for internal records and ministry reporting, and uphold Eagle Heart Centre’s mission by providing a welcoming, non‑judgmental atmosphere while maintaining firm boundaries, safety standards, and compliance with program policies.

Education

  • Minimum Grade 12.
  • Post‑secondary education in Human Services, Youth Care, Social Work, Indigenous Studies, or a related field is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children, families, or in a human‑services environment.
  • Working knowledge of cognitive disabilities (FASD, ABI, developmental delays) and the ability to support clients impacted by intergenerational trauma, addictions, and housing insta...
