Mold Maker

We are seeking a skilled Mold Maker to join our team on steady day shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and maintaining high-quality plastic injection molds. This role requires strong attention to detail, precision, and a deep understanding of mold-making techniques, materials, and equipment.

Job Duties

• Ability to use hand tools, machine tools, and precision measuring tools
• Operate machinery, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to fabricate mold related parts
• Spotting of slides, lifters, and inserts to ensure proper fit and function
• Ensure parting lines are spotted correctly to prevent flash and ensure proper sealing.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure best practices are being used and followed
• Timing of lifters
• Fitting of slides / retractors / lifter feet
• Plugging of core, Cavity and component water
