Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly & Disassembly:
Put together new or refurbished mold components (like cores, cavities, and pins) and take them apart for cleaning or repairs.
Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and 3D designs to ensure parts are aligned exactly to specifications.
Fitting & Finishing: Use hand tools and precision machinery to grind, polish, sandblast, and shim components so they fit together perfectly without leaks.
Quality Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments (like calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators) to check alignments and clearances.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Clean, lubricate, and fix issues with molds or hot runner systems to keep manufacturing running smoothly.
